Miles is stuck in a dead-end job, still in love with his ex-girlfriend Nova. Unbeknownst to him, a gang called Skizm is running a deadly competition within his city in which complete strangers fight to the death for the entertainment of an online audience of millions. Miles soon finds himself caught up in the game and forced to fight in a battle to the death. Initially, Miles" lifetime of running from his problems pays off as he manages to elude his first opponent but when Nova is kidnapped, he must finally stop running and overcome his fears to fight for the girl he loves

Fun ride, good shootem up movie, with a great soundtrack. Guns akimbo trailer reaction. Guns akimbo kinopoisk. To be fair, this IS a mindless gory action movie, and that"s totally fine by me. The problem is that this is a mindless gory action movie that tries to be smarter than it is, while also failing to deliver on the action part. Every single action scene is filmed with nonstop cuts and spinning camera angles, some bullet POV shots, and basically everything they can to cover up the fact that nothing interesting is actually happening. Good guys walk into a room, shoot the bad guys, the bad guys can"t hit anything, CGI blood, stormtrooper aim, etc etc. There"s nothing visually or choreographically impressive about the fights. Plus, the movie already feels dated with all its attempts at techno-babble and pandering to internet culture, while at the same time attempting to poke fun at them.
I would say watch the movie, give it a shot if you like grindhouse-style action-comedy. But don"t feel bad if you turn it off halfway through like I did.

Guns akimbo csfd. Guns akimbo torrent. PROS:Guns Akimbo is a mindless entertaining popcorn flick. It"s a social commentary about the world of internet and how dangerous can be. Daniel Radcliffe proves again how underated he is and Samara Weaving (almost unrecognisable) nails her role as the lunatic Nix. Their chemistry is strong and they seem to have fun with each other. The music choices are interesting and the visual effects reinforce the video-game aesthetic.
CONs:The film tries to be cool but it never reaches the level of movies like Scott Pillgrim or Crank. The villains are very cartoonish and not indimitating enough. Weaving"s character has been presented as the most bad-ass player but she repeatedly misses to shoot her opponent. The editing of the action scenes is irritating and the dialogue is stuffed with cheesy one-liners.
